To our Smithfield Active Physio Community, we hope you are keeping well during this time and continuing with your active routines from home

We have chosen to stay open during this time as we have not had the directive to close our doors. Our goal is to continue to have a space that feels safe for anyone who needs support.

We wanted to take some time to tell you all the steps we have and are taking to keep everyone safe and uplifted during this time. Things we are doing include:

All our massage beds have been stripped down to the vinyl making it easier to disinfect and be cleaned between each patient, plus the use of fresh towels for each patient is in place.
All equipment is being cleaned down after every patient.
Leny and Henry are both using masks to see all patients, and washing their hands multiple times during each session.
Our patient slots have been spaced out, with 15 mins between sessions to allow for extra cleaning, disinfecting, and allowing for only 2 patients in the clinic at any one time.
We ask that all patients with any existing respiratory conditions or flu-like symptoms stay home for the well-being of themselves and those in our community
Leny and Henry will also now be working on separate days – Leny – Mon, Wed (morning), Fri (afternoon), Sat (Morning), Henry – Tues, Thurs, Fri (morning) to avoid any overlap and to ensure they can continue to serve the community.
And of course, we ask that everyone use the hand sanitiser provider upon entry and exit.

We are also working on joining the online sphere in the next week as more healthcare announcements are announced:

We are already offering ongoing support with our Physitrack app, which allows us to monitor exercise routines for each of our patients.
And we are working to provide telehealth appointments where we can assist through online appointments such as guiding on injury management, strapping guides, exercise routines and progression.

We are also selling in the clinic a number of items such as: strapping tape, hot packs, creams for your ongoing home treatment. If you feel you’d like to purchase any of these please call ahead and we will have a package ready for you to pick up for minimal contact.
